Why Ceres
Ceres is a monthly subscription, but not the kind that holds your content hostage. You pay for the venue, you switch on only the modules you use, and you see the price before you commit to anything.
A plan built for you
You activate the base menu and add extra modules for ordering, analytics or reservations only when your business actually needs them.
Priced per venue
Use the platform with no fees for the number of tables, the volume of orders or the customers who pass through. Your monthly subscription doesn’t change as your revenue grows.
The data is yours
Your menu is stored on your own computer and stays yours, even if you stop the subscription.
Comparison
| Ceres | Typical subscription platform | |
|---|---|---|
| How the price is built | A plan for the venue plus the modules you use | Per venue, often per table too |
| If you don’t need a feature | Drop the module from the next month | Paid for in the bundle either way |
| Where the menu lives | A file on your computer, published at your address | In the provider’s database |
| First month | Free, to try in real conditions | Usually paid from day one |
| If you stop the subscription | The menu and the print files stay with you | The menu goes with the subscription |
| Printed menu | In every plan, with its own layout | Usually absent |
| Languages | As many as you want, translated automatically | Often charged per language |
| Branding on the page | Your logo only | Often the provider’s logo too |
| Table ordering | A module you switch on when you decide | Usually a higher tier |
| Who sets it up | We do: install, migration, training | You do, from the docs |
The comparison is with the usual model of subscription QR-menu services, and does not name any company. Check the terms of whatever solution you are considering.
On every screen
The manager works on a large screen where the whole menu is visible at once. The guest reads that same menu on their phone at the table. There are never two versions drifting apart, and there is nothing for the guest to install.

Build your plan
Start from the plan that fits and switch on only the modules you will actually use. Send us the finished configuration and you get a quote for exactly that.
Onboarding is paid once, at the start.
Pay for 12 months up front and onboarding is waived.
How billing works
Questions
Yes, and it is not a cut-down demo. You run your full plan in the real venue, with real guests at the tables. If after that month you decide it isn’t for you, you owe neither the subscription nor the onboarding.
The licence for your venue, your menu published at your own address, the QR codes for the tables, the print layouts and the modules in your plan. On top of that come app updates and support for as long as the plan is active.
Because the work does not stop at launch. The menu keeps changing, the app keeps gaining features, the live modules are watched, and you have someone to call when something has to happen today rather than next week.
Yes, from the next month. The menu does not move and the QR codes on the tables stay the same, so nothing changes for your guests.
It stays with you. The content, the images and the print files are yours and they leave with you, with nothing to pay to get them released.
We do it, and it usually takes a few days depending on the size of the menu. We install the app, bring your existing menu across, match the design to your identity, generate the QR codes, configure the live modules and train the team.
A Windows computer for the app, and an internet connection. Guests install nothing: the menu opens in their browser straight from the QR code on the table.
No. Ceres does not issue fiscal receipts and does not replace your till. Table orders reach the staff, and payment happens the way it always has.
The menu is edited from the app on the computer at the venue. The staff app, though, is on the phone: that is where you see calls, orders and which tables are taken while you are on the floor.
